Riverbanks Zoo & Garden’s annual holiday event is the longest running holiday tradition at the zoo. Guests in attendance will get to explore the zoo illuminated by nearly one million twinkling lights and more than 350 handcrafted images. Santa will of course be on hand spreading holiday cheer and posing for photos, and there will also be a Jingle Bell Bonfire where you can roast marshmallows. Please be sure to dress warm because it snows nightly at Riverbanks during the Lights Before Christmas!

Driving Directions from Our Columbia Hotel to the Riverbanks Zoo & Garden:
1. Head west on Devine Street toward King Street for 0.6 miles.
2. Turn right at Harden Street and go 0.5 miles.
3. Turn left at Gervais Street and go 0.6 miles.
4. Turn right at Bull Street and 0.9 miles.
5. Turn left at US-76 West/Elmwood Avenue and continue to follow US-76 West for 1.2 miles.
6. Continue onto I-126 West and go 1.2 miles.
7. Take the exit toward Riverbanks Zoo and go 0.2 miles.
8. Turn left at Greystone Boulevard and go 0.2 miles.
9. Make a u-turn at Candi Lane/Frontage Road, go 102 feet and Riverbanks Zoo & Garden will be on the right-hand side.
