The Presence of Absence exhibition at the Columbia Museum of Art celebrates photographers who challenge the audience’s perception of the reality. Consisting of 31 private collection photographs, this unique show is also part of another upcoming major photography exhibition, Who Shot Rock & Roll, which opens on Friday, February 25.
In Who Shot Rock and Roll the power of the images captures the energy, performance, and celebrity of music. In The Presence of Absence the familiar is disguised and the image symbolizes a larger idea.
